Today Google announced the introduction of Bard, which is the company’s experimental AI product that was powered by the Language Model for Dialogue Applications (LaMDA).

The viral announcement was made by Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai in a statement shared with TechCabal.

He described Bard as a “conversational AI service” that will provide the combination of depth of the world’s information with the power, and intelligence of its large language models to help deliver answers to inquiries.

Google launched an AI product to compete with ChatGPT, it is powered by  Language Model for Dialogue Applications (LaMDA). The major difference between chatGPT and Google's Bard is that chatGPT does not use the internet to generate information or answer questions but uses large data of 570GB or 300 Billion words to produce accurate information for all users.

On the other hand, Google's Bard uses internet-generated information to answer questions because it was powered by Language Model for Dialogue Applications (LaMDA) which is designed to generate the latest and high-quality information from the internet for users.

The major difference between Bard and ChatGPT is that Bard will be able to provide the latest information, and recent events, while ChatGPT won't be able to do the same because it can only provide accurate information on events later than 2021.

In 2019, popular tech giant Microsoft invested $1 billion in OpenAI's ChatGPT. It has taken the tech world by storm since it was opened for public use in November last year.
